While developing our GRIFFYN full suspension MOUNTAIN CARGO, we wanted to come up with a solution to attach the steering arm to the fork that was more secure and sleeker than our solution before- which was to use a stanchion clamp and a load of annoying hardware, this had a few downsides which this addresses.

We landed on this design. It sits on the tapered fork crown of the MANITOU JUNIT fork, and has a M4 cinch bolt to tighten it onto the steerer. It replaces the 45 degree crown race of a traditional tapered headset (we designed and tested around a HOPE headset) and has two locating extrusions that fit the two notches on the fork crown, further reducing the risk of slipping.

It is designed to be used with an M8 countersunk bolt to attach the steering arm (not included) which will vary in length depending on your setup. 

The part is CNCed from 7075 Alluminiujm and has a matte black anodised finish. 

Centre to centre measures 78mm, other lengths could be made upon request.
