There are different steerer lengths steerers for titanium and steel bikes, make sure the choose the right one as they are interchangeable.

And make sure to check compatibility with your current headset and hub.

Steerer lengths are measured from the crown race seat to the top of the steerer.

NOTE: Titanium bikes require a different fork with a longer steerer due to a larger down-tube diameter.
